Introduction

The library catalog provides a one-stop search option for library resources including books (stacks, reference, course reserves)/eBooks & DVDs. This tutorial focuses on accessing eBooks remotely.

  1. Access the Labouré Catalog If prompted to enter library name, type LABOURE LIBRARY To search for books, type in the author,  title , ISBN, or a descriptive keyword for a book that you're looking for e.g. test success From the list of results, look for the specific title that you're looking for. Pay attention to the formats. For eBooks, you'll want to see E-book as a prefix to the call number e.g. E-book RT 55 .N765 2019

    • E-books are accessible by clicking on the provided link

  2. Depending on the eBook provider you may be asked for additional login information. Click on Open Athens Login OR Access through your Institution Under Find your institution type Laboure College
    • Depending on the eBook provider you may be asked for additional login information.

    • Click on Open Athens Login OR Access through your Institution

    • Under Find your institution type Laboure College

    • Click on the Laboure College link.

    • After clicking on the link, login using your LabourĂ© email address and email password.

    • Once you're logged in, you have access to the eBook.
